Parents' Night Out
Typically on the first Friday of the month from 6 pm - 10 pm, a special night called Parents' Night Out is available to parents of children 6 weeks old - 6th Grade. Parents enjoy a night out while children are cared for at church by the MDO staff or FBC child care workers. This is a great opportunity for Sunday School classes to fellowship together, marriages to be enriched by time together or friendships developed. There is a $5 fee per child. The deadline for registration is the Wednesday before the event. Please call the church office to sign-up.
A special Christmas Parents' Day Out is provided on a Saturday in December to allow parents to do Christmas shopping or do errands during this hectic season while children enjoy special Christmas related activities. Contact the church office for more information.
New Babies Prayer Ministry
Children are at the heart of the Mother's Day Out Ministry. We care so deeply for each child and their family. Being moms ourselves, we know the excitement a new baby brings. Please contact the church office or email the MDO Director if you or someone you know is expecting a new baby. We are committed to praying for the parents and baby(ies) during and after the pregnancy for health, safety and salvation for each child.
Summer Fun Days
Depending on the need, a summer program may be offered on Tuesdays in June and July. This program is very similar to the regular MDO program but contains summer type activities. It is MDO's version of Vacation Bible School for preschoolers with special emphasis on Bible truths, stories and heroes.
