The Sunday School of First Baptist Church is an example of the Church at work. Our Sunday School is designed and called out to reach, teach, and disciple those with whom we come in contact. For that reason, our Sunday School is organized around similar age groups and interests of the people in Bible study. We have four major divisions within our Bible teaching program. These are by the following age groups:
- Preschoolers
- Children
- Youth
- Adults (including Single Adults)
Within each division, the members are grouped into individual age groups so that the Bible can relate to each group. Our preschoolers are grouped from bed babies to kindergarten, with each group in an individual department.
Our children, as well as our youth, are grouped by school grades in order to be around their own peer groups and to study curriculum based on their individual learning abilities and interests.
Our adults are grouped by ages or by interests of studies that are open to any age group. Our entire curriculum is Bible based. For husbands and wives who wish to attend and study together, we have co-ed classes available. There are also several single adult classes or, singles can choose to attend any of the other adult classes. All of our classes are taught by committed and trained teachers who have a love for the Bible and for those who attend.
The entire family has a place where they can come and study the Bible and enjoy a safe and comfortable environment for each age group.
